Cycles of Life

Life flows in cycles—letting go and receiving, endings and beginnings, loss and renewal. As a psychic medium, I’ve seen these rhythms reflected in spirit journeys, visions, and lessons from beyond. One such vision unfolded after a wildfire swept through the land, leaving a haunting blend of grief and potential in its wake.

In the vision, I found myself standing on scorched earth, the air heavy with loss and quiet promise. A Native American man appeared before me, his black headdress framing a face etched with profound emotion. At first, his expression carried deep sorrow, as though he bore the land’s pain. Then, slowly, joy began to radiate from his features—a joy so luminous it felt like the sun breaking through after a long storm.

Without speaking, he placed a seed in my hand. Small but vibrant, it pulsed with life, as if holding the promise of an entire forest. Suddenly, I was lifted high above the land. From this vantage point, I saw the scorched ground below. At first, it seemed barren, but then I noticed countless glimmers of white light beneath the surface—seeds, alive with energy, waiting to bloom. The fire had taken much, but it had not taken everything. Beneath the ashes, new life was quietly preparing to emerge.

The message was clear: surrender creates space for renewal. Just as the land had let go, trusting nature’s cycles, we too must release what no longer serves us. When we step aside and stop clinging to the past, life’s natural flow can carry us forward.

The land’s lesson feels particularly resonant now as the days grow longer and the light returns. Like seeds in the soil, we must trust the unfolding of our lives, allowing endings to make way for beginnings. The Native American man’s teaching remains with me: surrender isn’t giving up; it’s trusting life’s rhythms. The seeds beneath the soil don’t force growth—they wait patiently, knowing their time will come. When we stop forcing outcomes, we create space for life to transform ashes into new growth.

Even now, the wildfire’s energy lingers in my awareness—a reminder of loss and promise, destruction and creation. Life asks us to grieve what has passed, then let go, making space for renewal. This is the freeflow nature of being: releasing control so life can surprise us with gifts we never imagined. Beneath every challenge lies a seed of potential, waiting for the right moment to grow into something more beautiful than we could envision.

Meditation and Journal Prompt

Meditation: The Seed of Renewal

  1. Find a quiet space where you won’t be disturbed. Close your eyes and take a few deep breaths.

  2. Visualize yourself standing, holding a small, vibrant seed in your hand. Feel its energy—a pulse of life and potential.

  3. Imagine being lifted above the land, seeing the seeds glowing beneath the surface, waiting to bloom. Reflect on an area in your life where you need to surrender and trust.

  4. As you breathe deeply, imagine releasing your grip on the past. Let the seed in your hand symbolize the potential for renewal in your life.

Journal Prompt: Cultivating New Beginnings

  1. What are you holding onto that no longer serves you?

  2. Reflect on a time when letting go led to an unexpected gift or opportunity.

  3. Write about a “seed” of potential you sense in your life right now. How can you nurture it without forcing its growth?

Let this practice guide you toward embracing the freeflow nature of being, where surrender makes space for transformation.
