Stop Scattering Your Energy

ree

I used to live in constant anxiety, trying to please everyone, yet never having enough vitality to accomplish what truly mattered.

My house was a mess, the kids were running wild, and I was neglecting my health because I didn’t make time to care for myself (I’m still working on that, by the way). Life felt chaotic. Then, through my spiritual studies, I realized something transformative: God—or the Universe, if you will—never intended for me to be all things to everyone. Instead, I was meant to listen inwardly, to the guidance of the Holy Spirit and the inner voice that flows from above. That shift changed everything.

After learning to honor my own guidance, I began to notice something remarkable: when we align with our true calling, life feels energized, purposeful, and in rhythm. This is what I call a soul-aligned path—a place where our inner guidance is clear, synchronicities appear naturally, and the pieces of life begin to fall into place.

Of course, I’m not always perfectly single-pointed. Maintaining this focus requires daily practice: meditation, yoga, and devotional study (I even tune into Joyce Meyer or Deepak Chopra, whose own single-pointed devotions are inspiring). These practices help me connect with my higher self and purpose so that I may serve according to God’s will for me. When I live this way, my thoughts unfold naturally, my writing finds rhythm, and my work—well—moves with momentum.

Distraction is always present. Whether your vitality is focused on one passion or spread across many, it’s easy for it to scatter. When we react to every demand and expectation, we often end up exhausted and thin. But when we respond to what truly calls us, life begins to streamline, and energy gathers into a current that nourishes both ourselves and those we serve. This concentrated attention doesn’t just guide one part of life—it can ripple across everything we do.

Single-pointed focus and purpose don’t mean limiting yourself to one line of action. It extends across all areas of life: family, community, health, finances, career, education, play, and more. When you align with your soul, you start to notice the thread that weaves it all together—the guiding current that turns these diverse aspects into a unified, single-pointed purpose. This alignment allows everything to move with greater ease, clarity, and intention.

I practice staying focused because I’ve found a love that lives in my purpose—a love that allows me to support and care for those who come to me for guidance, healing, or validation. I believe the same can happen for anyone who follows their own calling—focus can open space to love, serve, and connect more deeply.

If you also find yourself living with a single-pointed purpose, know that it is not something to apologize for. It is not a rejection of others. It is a sacred yes to the work your soul has chosen. And if your joy comes from many directions, that is beautiful too. The deeper invitation is the same: honor where your vitality feels most alive.

So perhaps the real question is not, “Am I doing enough for everyone else?” but, “Am I living in alignment with the love and purpose that fulfill me most?” Because when you live aligned with your calling, your energy flows, your presence deepens, and your life opens to the joy and belonging you are here to experience. Ask yourself: Where does your vitality feel most alive? That’s your true path calling.

I open myself and my journey to share with others. If you feel called to explore your own path and discover where your energy feels most alive, I offer readings, mediumship sessions, and energy work—spaces to reflect, receive guidance, and align with your own purpose.
