Accidents

The life of a fire ant is no greater or lesser than God himself: both are interchangeable in appearance as one functioning wholistic vision of beauty.

For the past several days, I've been having strongly synchronized events regarding accidents.

These accidents were uncanny and of all kinds. For example, a recent synchronized event was when a doctor friend recently visited. He has recounted many stories of rescue missions where people have had horrific accidents - such as his story of a woman whose leg got stuck in a toilet bowl. I made note of these events and asked God to shine light, as experience has taught me that synchronicities such as these need to be paid attention to and often come to light.

Today, my twelve-year-old son went mountain biking (we live in the mountains). He asked if he could call me should his bike have a flat tire - he had a foreboding feeling. I kept my cell phone handy. He was to stay in the neighborhood. Sure enough, a little while later, the phone rang. The voice on the other end said, "Mom, I fell and can't ride my bike home."

Minutes later, I arrived on the scene, met by a child determined to walk towards me, though he limped with his mountain bike carried on his side. A Manzanita twig poked through his tire spokes, causing him to fall off his bike, then roll ten feet, landing him dead center on a fire ant hill!

Though I had spoken with him several times about mountain bike safety and kept him close to home, as a mother, I can’t prevent every injury. However, my suspicions through synchronicity were justified! I had a heads-up! And his helmet saved the day! All in all, I knew my son would come home with scrapes and bruises one day, but I couldn't stop him from exploring the rugged frontier on his mountain bike.
